an artist and his art are made up of every experience, sensation, and vision that has made up the days, hours, minutes and seconds of his life.

each song he hears, each movie he sees, each work of art or nature that his eyes behold, each person who touches his heart, mind or soul influences the art he creates.

because art is not created in whatever tool or mediums, surface or canvas that the artist utilizes.

art is created in the very depth of the creator's being, each memory of every moment and experience in his life, the very energy that sparks his spirit's existence, and the uncontrollable addiction to the act of creation.

every bit of imagination that gives birth to his unique vision is a part of the essence of the artist's very being.

so, an artist does not consume his work;

it consumes him.
